A surprise statement has been made by actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Alia revealed a picture of herself and Ranbir Kapoor at the hospital on Instagram, announcing that the couple is soon to become parents. Two lions and a lion cub could be seen in the second image.
“Our baby….. arriving soon,” Alia wrote.
Fans showered the images with hearts and congrats, including Riddhima Kapoor, Rakul Preet, and Mouni Roy, who co-starred with Ranbir in the film Brahmastra.
Riddhima said, “My babies are having a baby,” on Instagram.
Ranbir and Alia wed in April after a more than four-year relationship. The couple married privately and intimately at Ranbir’s house in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Ranbir said of his marriage to Alia, “I got married. It’s been a fantastic year for me, one that is incredibly big for me. I’m very happy with this new growth in my life. I used to remark in my movies that a shadi is a dal chawal.
He quoted his Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani dialogue when he said, “Shaadi is daal chawal for pachaas saal until you die. You need other flavours too; you can’t just eat dull dal-rice for 50 years. Arey life mein thoda bahut tangdi kebab, hakka noodles, and keema pav! But because of my life’s experiences, boss, I can say dal-chawal is the best, he said. I am living my best life with Alia. Everything in my life resembles a serving of dal chawal with pickles, onions, and tadka. I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner, he continued.
In the next movie Brahmastra, which is set for release in September of this year, the couple will be featured. Darlings and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani are just two of the movies Alia has coming up.
