Story:
Heaven is a Malayalam drama film directed by Unni Govindraj that was released in 2022. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sminu Sijo, Sudev Nair, Vinaya Prasad, Alencier Ley Lopez, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheesh, Joy Mathew, and Abhija Sivakala play in the key roles in the movie Heaven.

Verdict:
With his first feature film, Unni Govindraj succeeds in creating a suspenseful thriller that keeps the audience guessing till the very end. The emotional parts, especially after Peter’s son’s death, feel a little dragging, and while keeping the film at 70 minutes was a solid idea, it feels a little dull in the first half, but it picks up in the second half.
Gopi Sunder’s BGM is fantastic, and the way he adapts the sounds to the circumstance is impressive. It was a good effort to keep the basic music consistent with the alliance to police drum beat. PS Subramanian’s writing provides you the thrill of a thriller. The screenplay is written by a police officer and is the film’s advantage. The cinematography of Vinod Illampally portrays the high-ranges of Idukki, Kattappana in a new way.
Conclusion:
Overall, this is an investigative thriller through and through; if you’re a suraj lover and a fan of investigation films, this is a must-see.
