Story:

Auto-rickshaw driver Radhakrishnan is married to Savitri. The couple has two children. He wants his kids to attend a prestigious private school for their education. In order to raise enough money for his children’s school expenses, Radhakrishnan teams up with Madhavan in the real estate industry. However, Madhavan flees, which puts Radhakrishnan in danger. Will Radhakrishnan be able to solve his issues and satisfy his family’s needs? The rest of the movie is related to this.

Performance of the stars in the film:

Vijay Sethupathi has already known that he is a talented performer. In this movie, he gives one of his genuine performances that moves the audience to tears. Both Gayathrie and Guru are excellent in their roles.

Analysis:

A character-driven narrative with some strong actors has once again been delivered by Seenu Ramasamy. The best candidates for the assigned positions are Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie, and Guru Somasundaram. Only actors like Vijay Sethupathi should play these emotionally charged stories. He has a great rapport with Gayathrie. The characters are clearly defined. Even a minor figure is depicted in great detail. The actors properly completed the assignment for the director. Ilaiyaraaja and Sons provide some decent songs. Particularly in the second half, the cinematography is superb. Editing is well-done.

Verdict:

Maamanithan is a touching drama with excellent acting and direction, making it a must-see!
