Story :

Asok Selvan is back with another thriller following back-to-back movies. The movie Vezham was released on June 24, 2022. It centres on the life of a young boy who develops feelings for a girl. They split up due to a miscommunication, and he meets another girl. Numerous crimes soon take place all around him. The plot is formed by the investigation into the mystery. The cast of Vezham includes Ashok Selvan, Janani Iyer, Iswarya Menon, etc.

Positive aspects of the movie:

1.Ashok Selvan does a great job acting, and he takes up most of the screen.
2.Iswarya Menon and Ashok Selvan’s romantic scenes are quite beautiful.
3.The music and DOP departments strengthen the film.
4.Janani Ayer does an excellent job acting the emotional parts.
5.The screenplay and narration both seem strong.
6.Sandeep Shyam’s attempt at a different kind of filming

Negative aspects of the movie:

1.The movie’s second half drags a lot and puts our patience to the test.
2.There could have been some trimming of the character and time descriptions.

Verdict:

It only partially succeeds as a romantic thriller. But Vezham will only be useful as a one-time watch if you watched without high expectations.
